Eventing is the complete test. Dressage, cross country, show jumping — each phase asks something different, and only the most versatile horse and rider combination answers all three.
The Mane & Tale Eventing Association exists to sanction competition, maintain standings, and recognise excellence across every level of the sport in Mane & Tale. From a horse's first Beginner Novice outing to the heights of CCI 5★, MTEA tracks the journey.
There are no membership requirements and no dues. Any horse that competes in an MTEA-sanctioned show becomes part of the record automatically. Points accumulate across the game year, and End of Year awards recognise the Champion and Reserve Champion at every level.
MTEA shows are sanctioned and hosted exclusively by the association's director, Rhianon of Willow Tree Ltd. All shows are open to any eligible horse regardless of stable or breeding.
Rhianon
Rhianon founded the MTEA as the official eventing association of Mane & Tale. A lifelong horsewoman and owner of Willow Tree Ltd, she brings the same warmth and commitment to the association that she brings to her stable — which is to say, considerable.
Her own horses compete under the Willow Tree flag, and she will tell you with complete honesty that she does not play favourites. The points table will confirm it.

MTEA shows are hosted by Rhianon. Look for shows tagged as official MTEA events in the M&T show schedule.
Points are earned through placings in MTEA shows. They accumulate across the full game year and reset at each EOY award period.
At the end of each game year, Champion and Reserve Champion are awarded at every level based on total points. Results are posted on the M&T forum.
Awarded to the stallion whose offspring have accumulated the most combined MTEA points across the year.
